Online courses at American Vision University use the learning management system, Canvas. For best performance, Canvas should be used on the following browsers (current or first major releases):

Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, or any other device with a modern web browser. Canvas only requires an operating system that can run the latest compatible web browsers. The computer operating system should be kept up to date with the latest recommended security updates and upgrades.

Internet Requirements

A minimum download speed of 1.5 Mbps is required for admission, which is commonly the speed associated with a basic DSL or a cellular/satellite connection. A faster connection, such as cable or fiber service, will further enhance the online experience. A Wi-Fi connection is generally acceptable, but is dependent upon one of the two services mentioned above.
